Produce at Costco

After listening to Tony Robbins’ cds “The Edge”, I am once again eating only healthy foods -- produce is my mainstay -- and I was so pleased to see that Costco has now added Mini cukes -- according to Tony they are really good for you -- and I love them -- they are great for singles because of their small size, so you don’t have to cut open a large cucumber when adding it to your salad.

Now is the season for the beefstake tomatoes -- YUM -- had to have those -- they go great with salads, with mozzarella and basil or just plain with salt! They smell great too!

I also picked up a pack of French beans to add to the salads and for snacks.

New Products

A big surprise for me this time at Costco -- they have a new product that I knew I had to have -- it is Soy Energy -- it is mixed with soybean, almonds (great for you), cranberries, and pumpkin kernels. I have found a great new snack that gives me energy and is good for you. It goes great on salads too!

A great time to go to Costco is on Thursdays around lunch time -- the produce is fresh as they are gearing up for the weekends, yet it is not that crowded -- I can get in and out in record time.

And, there are so many goodies of all kinds ready to sample all over the store -- the other day it was the Kashi lean bar -- delicious; several different new juices, the salsa that is my favorite -- made right here in Arizona and the quiche -- I love to walk around with my list and as I am shopping, try the samples -- I usually do buy a lot of those products!

I have lunch, I shop, and I leave a very happy camper!

Making Life Simple

Costco has such incredible deals that are great for singles and couples as well as big families. As a single woman I shop at Costco to get all of the fresh produce that I love to eat. I find that it is still less expensive for me to buy my produce at Costco and other items and products that I will be blogging about. Yes, of course, some of the products are just not for singles, yet the variety of products that are makes it a great plan to be a Costco Member.

As an Impressionist Artist, I use a lot of flowers in my paintings. Their flowers are always fresh - they receive new flowers every day! And the price is the best in town. I schedule my photo shoots and my plein aire paintings from the day I buy them! I have painted the most incredible paintings with Costco flowers -- my models love them!
